This paper shows the principals aspects of an numeric implementation using an oriented object environment to calculate internal forces and nodal displacements of tridimensional buildings modeled by nite elements such as the tridimensional association of framed and plate elements.
The computational environment used is denoted PZ where the TTimoshenko class" was introduced to model tridimensional frame element by the Timoshenko beam theory and the TPlateReissner class" to model plates by the Reissner Mindlin theory. The input data is made through les in Ansys style for the geometry and through the lecture of the TMaterial" objects in a special format. The results can be analysed through an output le or by the visualization software DX from IBM. In this paper several examples are showed and their results are compared with a similar analysis by Ansys software.
